Cancellation and Returns

We aim for our products to meet your expectations and to be of your complete satisfaction. However, when this is not the case our cancellation and return policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we are not able to offer you a refund or exchange. Exchange is not applicable to unique or exclusive items.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Products are sold and may be exchanged subject to availability.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned and/or orders cancelled. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

o Gift cards

o Downloadable software products

o Some health and personal care item

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

o Books and handcrafted items with obvious signs of use

o Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

o Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you have not received your refund yet, please contact us at

Sale Items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged at the time of delivery. In such cases redelivery costs will be covered by us. If you need to exchange the goods for the same item, send us an email at and send your product to: 41 Byron Drive, London, DA8 1YD, UK. Exchange will be subject to stock availability. If the same product is not available, we will let you know, so you either opt to exchange for a similar product with the same value, or ask for a refund.


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £45, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Delivery packaging of the products being returned from outside the UK must visibly say: product being returned and has no commercial value. This may avoid your product to be returned back to you, or to be charged custom duties. If the latter is the case, additional custom duties will be taken from the refund amount, or charged to your method of payment in the case of an exchange.

Bottled Alcoholic Drinks

Returns will not be accepted unless the products were not ordered or they arrived damaged. You must follow the following steps at the time of delivery in order for a return and/or refund claim to be accepted:

o Examine the product(s)

o Notify us immediately If the products are broken and/or with signs of deterioration

o Return the damaged products and their packaging to the person delivering the goods for inspections

o Make sure that the loss or damage is noted and recorded at the time of delivery

Loss of the products or risk of damage will be assumed by the customer if the customer wrongfully does not receive the products at the time, or window of time, when Nomentu LTD (or Nomentu’s delivery partner) has agreed the delivery of the goods. In this case product may need to be returned and delivery may need to be rescheduled. Depending on the circumstances, additional shipping costs will be charged to the customer.

Customers must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. Customers must not buy alcohol on behalf of under 18’s. We apply “Challenge 25” policy to all alcohol orders. This means that if the person receiving an alcohol order appears under the age of 25, then our personnel, or third party, delivering the goods will ask for a proof of age to establish that the customer is at least 18 years old. The following is the list of valid proof-of-age ID documents:

o A photo driving licence

o A Passport

o A proof of age card, such as the PASS card from the national Proof of Age Standards Scheme

Failure to comply with this policy will means that the product will be returned, order will be cancelled and refund will not proceed. In addition, we must keep records available and may notify the relevant authorities. It is a criminal offence to use false or borrowed ID to buy alcohol, the maximum penalty is a £5,000 fine and up to 10 years in prison.
